The opening chapters of 'The Diplomat's Wife' have grabbed my attention. I immediately love the unlikely duo of Phil and Grams, and i'm excited to read more about their adventures across Europe. It also sounds like they'll be a side story happening simultaneously... I need to know more about Eustace!
I love historical fiction that's told from two time periods, and I particularly like the way this one is written in the third person narrative, then switches to first person when talking in the past.
