What an interesting book. The story's two main characters are Emma and Phil, who are Grandmother and Grandson.
The story does flip back from 1989, when Phil gets the chance to travel Europe with his Grandmother, to 1934 when Emma was just a young girl, whose mother was trying to find her a husband.
The book is well written and had me interested from the opening lines. I would definitely read this book.
