I enjoyed the beginning of this book. Emma, the grandmother was like a breath of fresh air. Her young outlook on life was a joy. I admired the character the author had created and I thought there was an interesting family dynamic. I felt sorry for Phil and was glad when Emma rescued him. I would have liked to see how this tale progresses.
