This sounds right up my street. I love stories that go between time periods to slowly unfold and from the first look I get the impression this is well crafted. The cover itself isn't hugely inspiring - I'm not sure I'd have picked it up in a shop but that just goes to show you shouldn't judge a book by its cover because I know I would love to read this.
