This does sound like an exciting sort of story which takes the reader back to the past covering two different eras. Both of these eras are set in the twentieth century when many things changed for the people who lived in these times.
I am also interested to see that the story covers two generations of the same family, grandparent and grandchild. It will be interesting to see how both generations cope with solving a family mystery.
