This book is ok so far and I feel as though the storyline will pick up and get interesting soon, however for now, it's slightly boring. I like the amount of dialogue there is and how natural it feels however I do think that the first chapter dragged on for a bit too long considering it was just a standard conversation any family would have sitting around a dinner table. Even though I understand it's what kick started the story, I do think it could've been a better opening. It didn't draw me in and make me want to read more, but I continued reading anyway. The introduction of Swann's character seemed a bit abrupt but definitely intrigued me more into finding out where this story was going. The story appears to be very mysterious and despite the first chapter being mostly tedious, it starts to get good from Chapter 2. If you enjoy stories based in the early 20th century, then you'd probably enjoy this one.
