I just loved this book! I was very intrigued by the synopsis and it did not disappoint. The characters and plot kept me entertained throughout the whole book and I loved reading about them.
One thing I particularly enjoyed about this book is that it is written in two different times - the past (1936) and the present (1979). It also felt as if not only was Emma telling the story of her past to Philip but to the reader as well. It was definitely interesting to read. The writing style was easy to read and understand, and I sped through the book.
