More than what I expected!
This book had me right in the feels, though the twists and turns I loved every minute! I think it’s written beautifully but I do think the characters could have had more developed and depth!
I think the writing style really suited me, the whole story plot was well written and it definitely does what it says in the description. It could have had more depth in certain parts as I do feel it lacks some sort of emotional depth. It’s definitely a read a little further removed from what I normally would pick up but it didn’t disappoint. If you love some historical romance then it’s a great book for you! But If like me you like some thrill and depth within the book then this probably isn’t for you! I’m happy with the plot and think the author has written it out to the T, but just isn’t the book for me unfortunately. Super happy to have won the competition though!
