I am a fan of Santa Montefiore, and the unravelling of an intriguing tale through movement between the present and the past. The snippet was full of intrigue. I want to read on to find out why the relationship with Nonna broke down, how Harvey's feeling for her developed without her noticing, and how strong the pull for her own life outside of the small village really is. Will Alexa settle for the love of the boy next door or be brave enough to go out in to the world that is unknown to her.
