I melted. All the way to the dance, I melted. One of my favourite words is 'Cornwall', and when that headed the first page, I knew this would be amazing. We begin with the perspective of Alexa, who is just about to step into a party in 1930s England. We are then introduced to Harvey, a dashing young man, who seems to be the love interest (a reason why I want to continue reading, I'm a sucker for those kind of guys in romance novels). But as time goes on, we realise that something's not quite right, and I can just tell that Alexa's about to dismiss everything I preconceived about her, and completely turn the story on its head.

The cover is amazing, it really seems to fit in with the book style, and the genre. Overall, I just really, really want to continue reading. The mystery is mounting and I want to find out what happens to Alexa next...
