After initially reading the first few chapters of this book I thought I knew where it was going, how wrong I was. The main character in this book so Alexa and it transports you through the various stages and emotional times in her life. Moving from Cornwall to London, Venice and Home again this is a story about childhood dreams, family feuds and eternal love.
The ending caught me by surprise and left me with tears in my eyes, Alexa and Harvey truly are made for each other.
This is not usually a book or storyline I would go for but I am definitely going to check out the authors other books and read those now too. This is a heartfelt and emotional roller coaster story that ends up pulling on the strings. Very descriptive with amazing characters and writing style.. love it
