The premise attracted my attention and immediately intrigued me and having read some deeply emotional novels by Jodi Picoult, it confirmed my interest. I find the subject of adoption fascinating, especially in regard to the havoc that it can wreak on all family members going forward when lies are told and secrets are withheld.
The writing style was also wonderfully conversational, felt so personal and this made the involving FI truly compelling. I hope to find out how this story progresses and ends.
