My immediate reaction to the beautiful prose was how undeniably raw and poignant it really was. I absolutely adored the first few pages , they almost had me in tears. I also really enjoyed the introduction of the characters, i am really excited to see where their relationships go, especially the family dynamics between the two sisters. Despite the whole ‘looking for lost birth parents’ being done many times before something about this novel seems unique and refreshing. Definitely excited to read on! I think that the cover also fits the book really well. With the faded silhouette depicting the isolation and loneliness she feels and the bright purple further highlighting the difference between the two sisters.
