This was a fantastic book. It was happy, yet sad. Light, but dark. Innocent, yet guilty. The story is about a close family, with all the usual hang ups. However, there is one difference, their eldest child is adopted. This has never been an issue for the family, until one day the situation was highlighted for Cassie. Suddenly a dark cloud entered Cassie's life and turns the whole family up side down. This cloud was called Leah, Cassie's biological sister. Leah reeks havoc with Cassie's life and is responsible for the theft of Cassie's ring, money and credit cards. Cassie feels violated and decides that she can't cope with Leah in her life anymore. Cassies adoptive parents are anything but innocent in all of this. It is a story of deceit and anger. A must read.
