I was fairly hooked within a few chapters and found it an interesting read, but I wouldn't say it was enjoyable. I wouldn't exactly recommend this book either but I would say some chapters really stuck out; even after a few weeks I've often been left thinking about it which in some sense must be good.

I couldn't warm to either characters and felt although there was shock factors and blunt cut throat moments, I didn't feel the emotion neither back story that gripped me or connected me to the main characters. Although it touched on adoption and the harsh realities.. it didn't explain it too well neither in much detail to imprint on me, but then wasn't sure if that what it was intending or what genre this was aimed at.
