I kept an open mind reading this novel as I didn’t want my presumptions to weigh my opinions of how this would all pan out.
I found it reminded me a lot of one of my favourite books byJodi Piccoult, My Sisters Keeper.
Being an adopted sister of similar age to this family’s biological daughter - there was a lot of competition for attention and affection while growing up. However when old enough to seek her own biological family out, Caroline uncovered secrets that were very intense and tainted the views on all she thought she knew.
Emotional, heart rendering, and shattering at times. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoyed My Sisters Keeper for certain!
