I absolutely whizzed through this book in just a couple of days - once I picked it up I couldn't put it down! It tackles the sensitive issue of adoption with great care, and offers an insight into a world that many people (myself included) may otherwise be ignorant to. I loved the way it gives you several sides to the story and different perspectives, before gradually tying all of the different stories together, and I found it to be quite a moving story about family relationships and the effect secrets (and revelations) can have on the family as a whole. This was the first book that I had read by this author, but I will certainly look for more by her in future. Totally recommend to anybody who is interested in this type of story.
