The forgotten sister is an absolutely beautiful and compelling read. Although this book covers some topics that may be sensitive to others, it really gives the book meaning and reason. It has something for everyone within its pages. I mean for me, I found the subject of adoption hard to read about but it really did play an important role to the book. The author has certainly delivered a heart wrenching novel that is bound to take the reader on an emotional rollercoaster. At certain points, I found myself tearing up, because of the sheer reality of the story. The characters are also so well portrayed, I felt like I was there, feeling their emotions. I just wanted to reach out and give them all a big hug. This is a book that will stay with me.
