I really liked that everything in this book was realistic and relatable. The characters are diverse and described through their actions, which are justifiable and understandable.

The depiction of teenage drama is not overdone, keeping it real and direct. The parental figures are a bit cliche, but overall nicely illustrated. Cassie and Erin are different but similar in the ways sisters usually are, and their relationship is not a constant one, fluctuating the same as their moods.

Cassie, the main character, is complex and likable. She also has flaws, which further makes her more realistic and helps you relate to her and like her.

Moreover, the cover is pretty, using soft and contrasting colors to illustrate the differences between the two sisters but also their bond.

Overall, the story was enjoyable and I would recommend it to teenagers and young adults.
