The book is very true to life, and can relate to all the characters, my husband was adopted so can see it from Cassie point of view and we know what it's like to be in the place of rejection, and were able to put ourselves in grace place. We also knew how difficult the tracing process can be. We could relate to all the emotions that the characters went through. It was beautifully written and sensitive to people. The author has researched it well.it wouldn't normally be the sort of book that I would pick but it is. It is a book that you won't be able to put down and the sort of book that will fly off the shelf at a library. It is very true to life and modern. Would recommend it to anyone
