This book makes you think how far you are going to go for your family, and you can't help but relate some aspects of it to yourself. It makes you think of family bonds, the sacrifices we make for each other and the emotions we experience. I love books that make me think. It also made me reflect on the topic of adoption and the complexities that come with it. I finished the book in a short amount of time so it is definitely a page-turner; I was eager to know how it ends. The ending was good, I was satisfied with it. It was an honest well-written book with thought-provoking situations.
