After reading the first few pages I was hooked!
The book is really well written and characters all develop and intertwine as the story continues. I thought I knew how the book would go but I was wrong. Twists and turns along way that I was not expecting at all! There are a few 'choice' words but they fit the characters at the time and are not overly used.
The book covers a sensitive subject that I have no first hand experience of (adoption and birth families) but the author handled the subject carefully and I feel I have a better understanding of the subject.
The relationship between Cassie and her mum and dad is explored in detail and I love the friendship she has with her sister Erin. The story looks in to Cassie's search to find her birth mother and how this can affect families.
I would highly recommend reading this...I found it very hard to put down and often read into the early hours!
