Definitely getting some film noir vibes from this front cover. I also judged the cover and title too hard before reading this because it wasn't what I was expecting and didn't intend on liking this one but I did.
It gives us snippets of information about the characters but it does seem like a slow start but then a lot of mysteries/ thriller's tend to start that way.
