I read this book in 2 days! I had to find out what happened Severine! Ten years ago, Kate and her college friends spent some time in France in a friends villa. The girl next door Severine was hanging about, very French and very chic! After they left to go home Severine disappeared and everyone got on with their lives.
Now Severines body has been found and it is clear she was murdered. But when was she murdered and by whom? Old wounds are opened and old relationships tested as questions are asked.
I enjoyed this book, Kate was a nice character. She has just started her own business so is under a lot of pressure. Add in Caroline who she never really got on with, Seb who was her boyfriend at the time and who she still holds a torch for and the ghostly presence of Severine and the tension is really notched up!
