I'd just been thinking about books set around World War II and came across this. I could tell from the cover that it was a war book because it looks so much like the ones in my Nan's collection (she always reads war books and they all have similar covers with a woman on the front like it). I don't love the cover but that's not the most important thing, that's what is inside! I'm intrigued by this book and think it will be a good read, but I think I need to read more of it to form a solid opinion.
