This was a lovely story, set very close to home and completely heartwarming. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, the characters, the setting and the pace. I really like the cover design and feel like it gets across the story well. This isn’t the sort of book I would normally read and I was quite hesitant to get into this genre but I will definitely be looking to read more from this author.
The only minor issue I had with the book was that I feel it was a little bit repetitive in parts. This wasn’t a massive problem for me and I still very much enjoyed the book but that’s why I can’t award it the full five stars.
