Exciting premise from an author who I have a hit & miss relationship with..
The premise has bags of potential and is pretty much impossible for a thriller fan to resist. The first impression flows well, establishes the set-up and seems to promise a swift pace. Having read three books by this author and having come away disappointed by the last two I am undecided about this one, but would certainly like to give it a go!
In the last two Megan Miranda novels that I read the pacing has been off, characterisation has been pretty one-dimensional and they do tend towards become a little unbelievable. My concern about this novel is that it could turn out to be a damp squib!
