The cover automatically makes me think of drowning or being trapped, which is instantly fitting after the first chapter. I automatically feel sympathy for our main character, and right away want to be more involved in her relationships with the people we have so far been introduced to. I do however feel an anxiety as I read on, wondering just what will happen to her next and I did not want the chapter to end.
