The cover and blurb intrigued me. I think this would be the type of book I would enjoy. It immediately stood out to me as a book I would pick up in a store, purely from the cover.
However the first impression didn't grip me. The prologue was good, but then the first couple of chapters were slow. I think this is the sort of book I would struggle with to start, but be gripped by the end.
