The cover is really pretty and caught my eye and the one-liner on the cover is interesting. The start of the book didn't really grab my attention, I think it might be written for a younger audience, however as I continued to read the story developed and became more interesting. Something I might have been interested in seeing was flashbacks from Arden's perspective when she was six. All in all, this was a decent start to a book.
