Olivia is sleepwalking again. She hasn’t done it since she was little, and now she’s woken up in the pitch black yard of her house by the woods. Shit is getting heavy.
Twenty years ago, Olivia, then known as Arden, was swept away in a storm whilst sleepwalking at six years old and went missing for days. The case took the media by storm (ha ☔️) and when she was found alive, her and her mother couldn’t escape the interest of the press and the public.
With the 20 year anniversary of the accident approaching, Olivia is keeping her head down in her new town with her new name. Until one morning, when she wakes up in the middle of her yard, with a dead body at her feet.

I genuinely loved this book- it was escapist, gripping, with the right-amount of whodunnit and a main character my own age who I had everything crossed for. This book has made Miranda’s work a must-buy for me, so catch me ordering The Last House Guest ASAP.
