The novel is about a young women who has started to sleepwalk following the death of her mother. She used to sleep walk when she was little and ended up getting lost down a storm drain for 3 days before she was rescued. This leads to her having to move away and change her name to avoid unwanted attention and she no longer knew her mother who died of an overdose and was unclaimed for a few months.
She now works as a hospital administrator and lives on her own in a secluded house with only 1 old man as a neighbour. One night she awakes after sleepwalking outside and discovers a body. She then is drawn into the mystery of why the man was there and is a suspect along with her elderly neighbour.
I enjoyed reading this book and found the main character likeable and well written. The storyline was unusual and kept me guessing right to the end.
