I was hooked from the first few pages of this tense psychological thriller. Olivia is an interesting character who survived a childhood trauma and to escape the media circus, well wishers and expectations of her moves to a new area changes her name and starts a new life.
Twenty years after being washed away during a rain storm as a six year old and becoming a celebrity as the girl who survived against all odds, Olivia or Arden as she was previously known starts to sleepwalk again.
The novel is well written and creates a feeling of claustrophobia and fear as everyone around her, friends, colleagues and strangers start to appear more sinister, you can trust no one.
It's a fast paced novel that really kept my attention throughout, a very welcome distraction during these times.
