I was really gripped by this book and it just got better and better. I took me a little while to get to grips with who was who and what had happened; it starts with lots to take in. The story reminded me a little of The marsh kings daughter, which I loved too. There were several points when it wasn’t obvious what we should think- I liked to be kept guessing and for the plot to have a variety of ways it could go. Liv’s past and her current sleep walking problem are a big cause for concern when she finds herself outside in the night next to a dead body! When we discover who the body is the plot thickens even more! I really enjoyed this, as I have with all of Megan Miranda’s books which I’ve read.
