I had been looking forward to reading this book ever since I saw the blurb and had that brief introduction to the story. It is about a young woman who survived a terrible ordeal in her childhood, and we meet her 20 years later when it seems that the events of that time are coming back to her haunt her. The story was well written in a way that made me want to learn more about the characters and what had happened. It keeps you guessing throughout, with multiple twists and turns that it is impossible to see coming! The plot was consistently interesting and held my attention; I devoured the entire book in just two days. The ending gave closure to the story, but even so it left me wanting more and I will definitely be seeking out more books by this author.
