I found this book very easy to read and it became quite pacey as the plot unfolded but I am still in two minds as to whether I would recommend as I was left feeling rather deflated. I enjoyed the transcripts of key points relating to the back story at the end of each chapter.
Arden/Olivia is a likeable character who appears to have hard life of no fault of her own and is trying to build a identity and life for herself but people and events conspire to stop that happening. The plot is different but as other people such as Jonah, Elyse and Bennett take their part in the story I was left at the end wondering what purpose they played. As for Elyse and what she does makes no sense but I enjoyed the massive plot twist which I did not see coming but again I was left questioning the motives and its still not clear what exactly happened to her as a child or indeed Sean Coleman's involvement.
