The plot & premise of this story was very different and nothing like anything I’ve read before. I really felt for Arden and was rooting for her throughout the book. There was enough suspense and mystery throughout which had me guessing what would happen until the end. I did find the flashbacks of newspapers and witness statements from Arden’s original disappearance a little repetitive and at times didn’t feel like it added anything extra to the story line. The twist with Arden’s neighbour and the background of his wife’s death added the mystery and created a sense of fear for her as you wondered if she was in imminent danger. Overall, I enjoyed it and loved the original idea and warmed to the character of Arden.
