This book follows the story of Olivia, who 20 years ago was the child at the centre of a media storm, when she was rescued after spending 3 days in a storm drain.
Now 20 years on, and trying to build a new life, she finds a body outside of her house which she trips over while sleepwalking. The body turns out to be the man who found her as a child, but why is he there, and who killed him?
Set over just over a week the story moves along at a good pace, with several threads running alongside each other. Some of the characters I found slightly underdeveloped, and a little jarring, and the twist at the end felt slightly rushed.
Still, overall this was an enjoyable book, and I'm grateful to Readers First for an advance copy.
