I looked forward to reading this book after the first look.
Arden was a child when she was saved after being swept away in a storm and clinging on for her life in a drain.
Wanting to forget being ‘the girl from Widow Hill’s’ she left her home town however time passed and she returned.
Arden, now called Olivia, she changed her name to avoid being recognised, returns home but her habit of sleep walking carries on. She has friends looking out for her but one night she has a body at her feet and no recollection how it got there.
Her life spins out of control, not wanting to reveal more as would spoil the plot, she doesn’t know who to trust, but her memory starts to come back with a few prods in the right direction.
Great writing by a clever author.
