I liked this book but felt it was a bit predictable.I worked out what had happened to Arden/Olivia pretty early in the story and only carried on reading to see if I had got it right.
Arden was The girl from widow hills who had the misfortune to get swept away into drainage tunnels when she was young.After she was found and rescued fame and fortune came her way.This blighted her growing up years.
She moved away from widow hills when she was older and changed her name to get way from it and live a normal life but things did not go that way.
She starts to sleep walk and wakes to find a dead body in her yard and things spiral from there.
I did like how the author used media transcripts and newspaper reports incorporated into the story.
Overall a psychological thriller of a book.
