Arden Maynor is a young child. She has however the misfortune to be a sleep walker. One night she goes missing and the whole nightmare begins. A Search party is raised and neighbours and friends goes looking for the girl , but storms are threatening and being outside is not a place to be for any one yet alone one so young.But she is not found for three whole days. She is found clinging to a storm drain and with an injured arm , but she has no memory of how it happened or how she came to be there. To start with the trauma of what Arden went through would be enough but the press and the tv media get hold of the story and the girl's mother milks it for all it is worth. She makes up her own version of events and turns it into a book , rather more concerned about this and the money it will bring than the welfare of her own child! The author has cleverly written this book to give to mixed emotions, scared for the child, worry over what is happening to her and total anger at the mother - you will be gripped to the pages
