The book introduces Olivia and her current life and explains how she became her, after starting life as Arden. The back story is intreging, a little girl sleepwalks and ends up missing, thankfully she is found safe but this is when the trouble begins. The bigger community become invested in the story and the little girl and she ends up moving and changing her name to escape. The story makes you sympathise with Olivia and the struggles she now faces with her lack of trust and suspicions of almost everyone she comes into contact with.
The back story leads you to present day and the thriller begins. The story takes a while to build, and I must admit I felt it was a little too long, but the story does get you involved and along the way there are a few twists and turns to keep you engrossed.
