The Girl From Widow Hills is a really interesting book. Olivia, formerly Arden, survived being swept away in a storm and spending three days holding onto a drain before being spotted by a passer by. As she has grown she hasn't been able to escape from being 'that girl' and so has changed her name and moved across the country. As a child she used to sleepwalk but now it is beginning again. When she wakes one morning after tripping over a dead body in her yard she realises that perhaps she's not as safe in her new life as she would like to think!
I enjoyed the way this story is told - mostly in real time but with sections of reports from the time of Arden's disappearance in between chapters to give us the backstory that we need. The story moves along nicely with the tension building and building. It is difficult to know which characters we can and should trust. This is a good choice for someone who fancies a psychological thriller with a difference
