The Good Doctor of Warsaw is a historical fiction novel inspired by true events in the Warsaw Ghetto during the Second World War. The extract I found did prove to be a difficult read since it was a little depressing. However, the fact that it was feeling like that allowed for the main characters and the flashback in chapter two to be more emotional and setting the scene for things to come. I like history and therefore, seeing this book available to try was a good thing for me personally as a reader.
I am interested in reading further however, I feel that my mind isn't fully decided on this book yet to give it a full review.
