This book review is hard to write because sometimes it is difficult to comprehend some of the things that are described in this book. The book is written in diary like chapters, with each chapter about a particular place and date. There are two parts of the story which are interlinked, one part is a love story between two young people Misha and Sophia and all they went through living in the Warsaw ghetto. The other part is about Dr Janusz Korczak and the many children he looked after in the orphanage. Reading this book you can't help but be moved by all that has gone on, you see children playing in the park or walking to school nowadays but in the Warsaw ghetto things were just so much different and these children never grew up to have children of their own. One thing you have to remember is that is was based on true accounts of these people's lives and you have to remember also how many people there was just like them. Remember never forget.
