Suspicion, surely?! Yet I am sucked in time and again by the premise of something that sounds counterintuitive threatening to be true.. namely, a psychic in Linwood Barclay's Never Saw It Coming, female hysteria in Megan Abbott's The Fever.. pretty sure Eileen Cook's twist fest would see me magnetised! I find it fascinating when an author can make me question everything that I have so firmly believed in life.. am interested to see if Eileen Cook is such a talent..
