My first impressions on the "Hanging girl" was that it was a real page turner. I could not put it down! I loved the character choices the author made. Skye was a very interesting character because she was having trouble with things like money what she wants to be when she graduates. These topics are very relatable to a lot of people which means people can empathise with the character. On the other hand Skye was also interesting because her hobbie was card reading which most people do not do. This characteristic contrasted with the relatability of the character making her more interesting.
The plot of the book was different from most books. It revealed a lot about the characters past near the beginning making it easier to understand the character. i especially liked the cliff hanger at the end of the chapter. I definitely would recommend this book!
