I found this to be a real page-turner - I read most of it in one sitting. The main character, Skye, was believable, though she made a lot of bad choices. There was enough background to make me understand why she made these, though she was quite an unsympathetic character. To be honest, there really weren't any sympathetic characters in the entire novel! This was a slight flaw in that I didn't really feel moved by any of the events. Any red herrings were also dealt with so quickly that they seemed a little pointless.

Although I guessed the ending, there were a couple of twists that I did find surprising. I think overall this was a well plotted book but it did get a bit 'by numbers' by the end and I think if I hadn't read it in one go then I might have had more time to think about the flaws a bit more... Still, I found it an enjoyable read.
