The Hanging Girl... hmm... I don't hate it but I won't say its the best book I've ever read.
A young girl named Skye who identifies herself as a fake psychic gets jumbled up into a police investigation to find her classmate Paige, and things from there go downhill.
I'd recommend this for young teenagers and adults who are seeking some adventure and mystery books to read. The plot line is slightly predictable and it doesn't include a lot of twists, nevertheless, it's fantastically written and I love the fact it's in first person! There's a LOT of techniques used to create imagery such as similes, metaphors, etc. as I have realized.
What's really likeable about the main character is that you can somewhat relate to her personality and troubles. Another useful thing I noticed is that the book lowkey raises awareness for mental disorders (such as anxiety) and discreetly includes ways of getting help. Overall, I did enjoy this book and I'd probably consider getting another book by this author! :)
