The drama and suspense is right there from the very first page, and it actually made me feel quite uncomfortable and uneasy. From the first couple of chapters it seems that it would deal with lots of complex issues, which it's hard to tell if they'd be handled sensitively from the short extract. However I saw that it's recommended for fans of The Holiday which I enjoyed, so I'd be keen to read it and find out!
